GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
Kirkwood Community College seeks a skilled and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a lab technician in the Industrial Maintenance program. The successful candidate will have a good knowledge base in Electrical theory, including 3-phase, NEC, residential and commercial wiring, applied electrical math, mechanical drives, and electrical and mechanical maintenance. College-level tutoring experience is desirable. It is preferred that they be knowledgeable in the safety standards to keep students safe in the lab. They must also be willing to build, repair, and maintain lab equipment. Must be available to assist in daytime classes.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Support instructional setup, including labs.
- Communicate with department staff, students, and faculty on a regular basis.
- Perform other related work duties as assigned.

- Effectively instruct and communicate material for the course.
- Abide by and enforce safety rules when in a lab setting.
