About the Program:
Our interdisciplinary degree program is designed to prepare students for professional careers in private and public health services. The program combines the knowledge and skills from multiple disciplines to provide rigorous training in the health sciences. The curriculum includes a set of core courses and several elective courses that each student chooses in consultation with an advisor.
About the Position:
Instructor of asynchronous online course in B.S. in Health Sciences.
Minimum Degree Requirements:
- Ph.D. in Environmental Health or Nutrition
Required Qualifications:
- Applicants should demonstrate the ability to effectively engage with a broad student population and provide mentorship that supports student academic success.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Public Health emphasis
Responsibilities:
- Teaching online asynchronous Special Topics Course.

Compensation:
California State University Lecturer Salary (Academic Year) Schedules (anticipated hiring ranges)
- Range 2: $5,507-$6,677
- Range 3: $6,221-$13,224
- Range 4: $6,825-$14,523
- Range 5: $8,593-$15,211
Placement into a range is based on qualifications and experience. Initial assignments are typically at the bottom third of the salary range. The full-time (15 units per semester) monthly base salaries indicated in the schedules above are prorated to the number of units worked and are paid in six monthly payments for each full semester.
