"Instructor in Engineering (Part-Time Pool)"

We are accepting applications on an ongoing basis for future consideration for part-time instructors in Engineering at Ventura County Community College District. Applications will be kept on file for the Summer 2025, Fall 2025, and Spring 2026 semesters.

Under the general direction of a dean, an Instructor (Non-Contract/Temporary) provides comprehensive classroom instruction to students from diverse backgrounds to facilitate their academic or vocational objectives. Instructors may be employed up to 67% of a full-time assignment.

The Ventura County Community College District serves residents throughout Ventura County, offering programs for transfer, career technical training, basic skills instruction, and more. The District is committed to diversity and inclusion.

Representative duties include providing academic instruction, advising students, evaluating performance, planning instruction, maintaining records, and more.
