The Department of Health Promotion & Behavior (HPB) invites applications for a non-tenure track Instructor position. This is a 9-month academic year appointment (with opportunity for summer teaching) beginning August 1, 2026.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Master’s degree in health promotion, public health, health communication, or a related discipline prior to August 1, 2026 (preference will be given to candidates with a completed doctoral degree)
- Demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching.
- Ability to integrate emerging technology into classroom instruction
RESPONSIBILITIES
100% instructional position, primarily teaching undergraduate courses in HPB. Teach in areas such as:
- Program Planning & Evaluation
- E-Portfolio Creation
- Technical Writing for Public Health
- Community Health & Wellness
- Health Disparities
