"Instructor of Health and Human Sciences"

Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Health & Human Sciences invites applications for a full time, 9-month Instructor in the Nutrition Education and Promotion concentration of our BS in Human Development & Family Science program. The position commences in January 2026.

The ideal candidate will lead hands-on nutrition demonstration labs, design dynamic courses tackling today’s most pressing nutrition issues, and foster a vibrant learning environment that excites and empowers students.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Master's in Nutrition Education, Nutrition Sciences, or closely related field.
Have a minimum of 18 hours graduate work in nutrition.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Registered Dietitian
Prior experience teaching and/or running food demonstrations labs.
