Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in education appropriate to the assignment from an accredited institution by date of appointment; hold or demonstrate eligibility for Indiana teaching certification in education appropriate to the assignment.
- At least one semester teaching, or student teaching experience in a grade level appropriate to the assignment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in education from an accredited university.
- At least three years of experience teaching; evidence of knowledge and skill in using educational technologies; evidence of knowledge and skill in working effectively with children with special needs and/or high ability.
Required Certifications:
- Indiana certification appropriate to the assignment or be able to obtain an emergency license.
- Ability to gain and hold Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification.
