Clinical Education Instructor/ Clinical Education Assistant Professor/ Clinical Education Associate Professor (9-month position)

West Virginia University School of Nursing Adult Health Department located in Morgantown, WV invites applications for Clinical Education Instructor/Clinical Education Assistant Professor/Clinical Education Associate Professor in the Non-Tenure Clinical Education Track. This is a full-time, nine-month, benefits-eligible position. This position will report to the department chairperson.

Faculty Responsibilities:

• Teaching in BSN and/or MSN programs. This may include clinical teaching, other formats of teaching, including traditional classroom instruction, skills lab, small group, and simulation teaching may be included.
• Teaching of clinical and learning labs may be expected depending on faculty expertise and program needs. Some didactic teaching may be required.
• Student advisement may be needed.

Qualifications

Candidate Qualifications:

• Master's degree (MSN) in nursing and one year of professional nursing practice experience.
• Required to have unencumbered WV RN License by position start date.
• Applicants with NP certification and earned doctorate in nursing or a related field are encouraged to apply.
• Evidence of current experience in teaching sufficient to demonstrate professional competence preferred.
