Internist-Hematologist for Lymphoid Malignancies | Multiple Myeloma
Job Summary: We are seeking a driven internist-hematologist to join the Department of Hematology at Radboudumc, with broad expertise in hematology and specific interest in lymphoid malignancies, cellular therapy, and particularly multiple myeloma. The role involves contributing to innovative patient care, hemato-diagnostics, scientific research, and the education of trainees.
Responsibilities: Deliver active contributions to innovative patient care, hemato-diagnostics (morphology), scientific research, and the training of internal medicine residents, hematology fellows, physician assistants, and nurse specialists. Work in a dynamic and collegial team, with opportunities for personal development and scientific ambitions.
Qualifications and Requirements: You must be a hematologist-oncologist with experience or interest in cellular immune therapy. A PhD is required, along with the ability to set up and expand research lines in collaboration with colleagues and laboratory specialists. Excellent teamwork in multidisciplinary settings, good organizational sensitivity, empathy, optimism, self-reflection, and an open approach are essential. Availability on short notice is also required.
What the Employer Offers: A fixed-term contract for 1 year with prospects for indefinite employment. Salary between €7,466 and €8,830 per month for a full-time position (40-48 hours per week), plus 8% holiday allowance, 8.3% end-of-year bonus, and 20% allowance for adverse circumstances. Additionally, 24 vacation days per year based on a 40-48 hour workweek, and opportunities for development in a supportive environment focused on top-level research, education, and patient care.
