Job Description:

Estimated Pay:

• Estimated rate per hour: Casual Professional Level 6, Step 1
• Estimated workload: at least 50 hours

Key Responsibilities:

Develop a program to interact with OpenAI's ChatGPT API and guide it through a financial forecasting experiment designed by us. This involves:

• Inputting experimental instructions, including text and figures, to ChatGPT.
• Automating the process of conducting multiple trials in the experiment, including feeding historical data to the AI and collecting its forecasts in each trial.
• Setting up the program to conduct hundreds of trials per experiment with different data sets.
• Ensuring the program can handle repetitive execution of experiments efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

1. Technical Skills:
   • Proficiency in Python programming.
   • Experience with OpenAI API or similar AI/ML frameworks.
   • Familiarity with machine learning concepts and text/graphical data.
2. Communication Skills:
   • Ability to document and communicate technical processes clearly.
   • Collaborative mindset for working with researchers and team members.
3. Qualifications:
   • Students of all levels (UG, PG, PhD) are welcome as long as they demonstrate the required skills and capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with OpenAI API or other related AI/ML frameworks, particularly in automating tasks.
• Background in computer science, information systems, machine learning, or engineering.
