Defence Research and Development Organization (DRDO), Mysore invites applications for Junior Research Fellow (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) positions. The organization, under the Defence Institute of Biodefence Technologies (DIBT), focuses on developing detection technologies for food borne pathogens and toxins, as well as Military Nutrition.

Qualifications:

• For JRF: Post Graduate degree in first Division from a recognized University/Institute with valid NET/GATE score, or Post Graduate degree in professional course (M.Tech) in first Division, or Graduate degree in professional course (B.E/B.Tech) in first Division with valid NET/GATE score.
• For RA: PhD in Food Science & Technology/Food Processing Engineering/Food Engineering & Technology/Food Engineering, or M.Tech in related fields with 3 years of research experience and at least one research paper in Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.

Job Location: Mysore, Karnataka

Pay Scale:

• JRF: Rs. 37,000/- + HRA per month
• RA: Rs. 67,000/- + HRA per month
