Project Title: “Extended Forecast of Wind-wave Parameters along the Indian Coastline using Multi-tasking Techniques”

Essential Qualifications: Candidates with a Bachelor degree in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/ Computer Science and Engineering or other relevant discipline. And Master’s degree in Mathematics/ Applied Mathematics/Computer Science and Engineering or other relevant discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks (or) CGPA of 6.5/10 in UG or PG for JRF under GEN/EWS/OBC category and 55% aggregate marks or equivalent CGPA of 6.0 for SC/ST candidates. The candidates must have successfully completed at least one of the competitive exams such as NET/SLET/GATE.

Desirable Qualification/Skills: Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence and Machine learning Technique including Data science and Algorithm. Good programming skill with Python is also desirable.

Job Location: New Delhi

Emoluments: Rs. 37,000/- (JRF fellowship) plus House Rent Allowance (HRA) as per the norms of Ministry of Earth Sciences, GoI norms.

Duration: 02 Years. The initial appointment for one (01) year, which can be extended up to 2 year, the completion of the project, purely based on satisfactory performance. The position is co-terminus with the project.

Age Limit: Not exceeding 30 years (for JRF) as of the closing date of the application. Age relaxation as per GoI norms.
