Junior Research Fellow

Title of the project

Enhanced Protection-enabled GaN based High Voltage Electronic Power Conditioner for traveling Wave Tube Amplifiers for Aerospace Applications

Essential Qualifications

Candidates that fulfilling following qualification criteria are encouraged to apply for the position:

1. Minimum of 4-year Bachelor’s degree OR a Master’s degree
2. Qualifying Degree Disciplines: Electrical or Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Equivalent disciplines.
3. Qualified in a national level test, such as- GATE / CEED / JEST / UGC-NET /CSIR-NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) / Ph.D. only. (Requirements of the national level tests such as GATE is exempted for candidates having > 8.0 CGPA in qualifying degree from the Ministry of Education funded Technical Institutions (erstwhile CFTIs of MoE))

Desirable Qualifications

Candidates who have experience in Power Electronics Converter Design Area are highly encouraged to apply

Project Duration

36 months (The selected JRF candidate will have the opportunity to register for the Ph.D. program at IIT Roorkee as per institute norms)

Stipend

JRF: Rs. 37,000 p.m. (for first two years) SRF: Rs. 42,000 p.m. (for third year)
