Job Title: Junior Research Fellow

Employment Type: Temporary

Department: Department of Earth Sciences, School of Physical, Chemical and Applied Sciences, Pondicherry University

Project Title: Understanding the evolutionary history of Southern Granulite Terrain (SGT) during continental breakup using advanced and multiple seismic approaches.

Funding Agency: SERB

Essential Qualification: Candidates with an M.Sc/ M.Sc(Tech) in Geology/ Earth Sciences/ Seismology/ Physics or equivalent with a minimum of 55% and those who have qualified in CSIR-NET and/ or Gate.

Desirable: Candidates having knowledge/ experience of seismology and Geophysical modeling will be preferred.

Duration: 2 years

Pay Scale: Rs.31,000/-per month + HRA
