Junior Research Scientist

Our students use that to improve cities across the globe, in the public, private, and nonprofit sectors.
NYU Wagner currently has a full-time opportunity for a researcher to participate in a series of studies and reports about the New York State health care system, social determinants of health, and Medicaid innovation.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide general research support
- Manage and analyze data/graphics using STATA software and Excel
- Conduct systematic literature reviews for research projects
- Use survey data, publicly available government data, and claims data
- Summarize project results
- Write, review, and edit various materials for publication
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in public health, public policy, economics, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
- Demonstrated experience conducting quantitative research, including statistical analysis and data visualization
- Proficiency with STATA and Excel; familiarity with R or Python is a plus
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and work both independently and collaboratively
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
