Law School Adjunct Professor
About the Job
Consider teaching as an adjunct professor. You will work with energetic students, make connections with colleagues, keep in touch with the academic community, and help develop the next generation of legal professionals. Program administrators are available to assist you both before and during the semester to ensure you and your students have a successful semester.
Adjunct Positions
- Develop and teach courses
- Advise students regarding both specific coursework and broader academic or career goals
- Engage in research and publication, and/or artistic or scientific creation. Provide service through participation in governance of the department and/or the University
- Contribute to the development of the profession through participation in national and/or international associations, publications, and/or other related activities
- Continue personal growth within the profession, keep current with the field, and broaden knowledge and expertise
- Contribute to outreach activities that support the unit's mission

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Completed JD and 3-5 years of professional experience related to the subject matter.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience teaching secondary education courses.

Pay and Benefits
Pay Range: $1,500 - $4,000 per credit, per semester; depending on education/qualifications/experience.
Retirement plan options are available for Civil Service, Faculty, Labor-Represented, Professional & Administrative, and Temp Casual classifications. Learn more about retirement plans.
