Reporting to the General Manager, People Experience, the Design Learning & Development Partner plays a key role in supporting the design and building of a future-ready workforce through impactful learning and development initiatives. This role will join a newly formed strategic function in a small team that focuses on elevating the staff experience across the broad remit of Learning & Development, Organisational Development, Talent Management, and Staff Engagement.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and delivering inclusive, evidence-based multi-modal learning solutions aligned with strategic priorities.
- The development of tiered leadership offerings, bespoke learning solutions, capability frameworks, and practical tools and resources to guide people’s learning journeys.
- Contributing to projects designed to elevate the People Experience for staff at Bond.
- Partnering closely with the General Manager and subject matter experts to formulate and co-create evidence-based learning solutions.
About the person
You are a proactive and collaborative all-rounder learning and development professional, with a passion for contributing to improving the people experience for an organisation’s staff. You have a passionate curiosity of your own, to continue learning and adapting your approaches to stay current and impactful in designing inclusive, evidence-based development experiences that build capability and support workforce growth.
You will bring:
- Tertiary qualifications in L&D, HR or related field, plus Certificate IV in TAE (Essential).
- Demonstrated experience in professional/corporate organisational staff-focused learning and development, with a focus on building professional staff capability, fostering growth, and supporting workforce skill and capability readiness.
- Experience designing and delivering end-to-end processes (TNA, design, development, implementation, evaluation) of multimodal learning across all levels, including tiered leadership.
- Expertise in instructional design, adult learning, and universal design principles to create interactive content that is engaging and inclusive.
- Sound facilitation skills and ability to create psychological safe learning environments.
- Proficiency in using digital learning tools (e.g. Articulate 360) and interested to continue learning about emerging tools/technologies to enhance the learner experience.
- Experience with developing capability frameworks, leadership programs, and talent development initiatives.
- Ability to transform complex evidence-based theories, frameworks, or legislative compliance content into learning that is clear, practical, and engaging.
- Ability to effectively work with competing priorities and deliver in a fast-paced, busy environment
- Collaborative and solutions-focused, with strong stakeholder skills, a growth mindset, adaptability to pivot with business requirements, and a drive for continuous improvement.
Highly regarded attributes include:
- Knowledge of how to apply strength-based approaches, and the 70:20:10 learning model.
Salary details
The salary range for this full-time position is $96,222 to $110,164 per annum, dependent on skills, qualifications and experience, plus 12% superannuation.
