The Learning Specialist for the Lincoln Memorial University (LMU)–DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine (DCOM) provides individualized academic skill development and learning strategies to help students successfully meet the rigorous demands of medical education and achieve first-time success on national licensing examinations. The Learning Specialist works collaboratively with the Success Team Committee to monitor outcomes, including first-time pass rates, as a measure of program effectiveness and student achievement.
