Among the key duties of the position are the following:

• Provides learning assistance to students within the Office for Development and Academic Success in the Sciences (ODASIS).
• Supports students through one-on-one personalized student academic plans, career advising, and mentoring.
• Develops programs and strategies to improve recruitment, retention, and graduation rates.
• Hires, trains and supervises peer Supplemental Instructors for the weekly academic support sessions and mandatory study halls to help students build the skills needed to succeed in the sciences.

Minimum Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in biology or related field.
• At least two (2) years of professional experience working collaboratively with faculty, students, and staff in an academic support services environment.
