Job Summary
The Department of Biology at The University of Texas in Tyler is seeking a 9-month, non-tenure-track Lecturer or Assistant Professor of Instruction.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach service courses for pre-nursing students, including Anatomy & Physiology and Introduction to Microbiology.
- Strong commitment to undergraduate education and mentoring.
- Participation in departmental, college, and university committees and advising is expected.
- Maintain regular on-campus presence.
- Attend departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications
- M.S. or PhD in Biology is required.
Preferred Qualifications
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate level is highly desirable.
