Position Summary
The Entrepreneurship Program in the Terry College of Business at The University of Georgia invites applications for a one or more non-tenure-track positions at the lecturer level. The position will begin in the fall of 2026 with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of the Entrepreneurship Program and entrepreneurship faculty to deliver courses in innovation and entrepreneurship as a part of the Entrepreneurship Certificate offered by the College. The Lecturer will also support non-instructional activities as directed by the Director to fulfill the College and University’s service mission, including supporting experiential programming, student mentorship, entrepreneurial ecosystem engagement, and program operations. The positions could potentially include approximately 25-50% service responsibilities.

Minimum Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD in entrepreneurship, management, marketing, or a related discipline.
Additional Requirements
Candidates with a Master’s and/or a Bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship, management, marketing, or a related discipline with significant experience in the practice of entrepreneurship (a minimum of 5 years) will be considered. Candidates lacking a terminal degree must be approved for an exception to the terminal degree requirement before hire.
The position is renewable based on performance, and promotion to Senior Lecturer is possible after six years of service. Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and/or Competencies
Candidates must demonstrate a record of engaged teaching in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation or a closely adjacent field and be comfortable in a collaborative teaching environment; research is not a consideration.
Preference will be given to candidates with industry as well as academic service. Preferred qualifications include a record founding or operating a venture; prior role mentoring students in entrepreneurial or experiential learning settings; demonstrated ability to develop curriculum with an active learning focus; evidence of designing or leading experiential programming such as accelerators, pitch competitions, or innovation challenges; familiarity with entrepreneurial ecosystems, incubators, or accelerator programs; and the ability to teach across multiple entrepreneurship course topics. Strong collaboration skills and a team-oriented approach to program delivery are essential. Candidates with success in venture capital or angel investing, connections to entrepreneurial and investor communities, and/or demonstrated success with artificial intelligence and its applications in entrepreneurship are particularly encouraged to apply.
