Major Duties and Responsibilities
The appointee will be responsible mainly for the following:
- Planning, developing, coordinating and delivering courses (including face-to-face and distance learning modes) in related disciplines at the higher diploma, undergraduate and postgraduate levels;
- Giving guidance to students in the capacity of an academic advisor;
- Engaging in programme administration/development and scholarly activities;
- Planning and implementing experiential learning activities such as study/exchange tours, and
- Participating in School/University activities and administration.
Candidates
Candidates should possess the following qualifications, experience and competence:
- a Master’s degree or above in a field related to early childhood education; and
- a good network with local and regional early childhood education organizations will be an advantage; and
- a good knowledge and experience in supporting children with special educational needs is strongly preferred; and
- a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese).
Terms and Conditions for Appointment
An attractive remuneration package, including basic salary, an end-of-contract gratuity, and a discretionary incentive payment, where applicable, will be offered to the right candidates.
