Job Summary

The Lecturer position in Mathematics is responsible for teaching primarily developmental and general studies mathematics courses, advising students, and providing service to the department/college/university.

Minimum Qualifications

1. A master’s degree or expected master’s degree before the start date in mathematics, mathematics education, or a closely-related area with a minimum of 18 hours in graduate mathematics courses

2. Previous teaching experience

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience in teaching developmental mathematics.

2. Experience in teaching high school mathematics.

3. Experience in implementing active learning techniques.

4. Experience in the use of technology in teaching mathematics.
