Lecturer
The Department of Accounting and Finance in the Bryan School of Business & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) invites applications, expressions of interest, and nominations for one full-time position. The position will commence on August 1, 2026, at the rank of Lecturer (non-tenure-track).
The position will be slated to teach four courses each semester, with instructional responsibilities primarily in the areas of corporate finance and investments (depending on departmental needs and faculty qualifications). The selected candidate must be prepared to teach face-to-face and online courses, as needed by the Department. Teaching online courses is required, and service to the university and to the academic and/or practicing professions is also expected.
The successful candidate will serve as a bridge between the Bryan School and the business community. We expect this person to be instrumental in securing internships and job placements for our students by collaborating with businesses. Prior experience working with the business community to create career opportunities for students is a major asset for this position.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Either a Masters in finance or MBA, or similar degree with a concentration from an appropriately accredited school.
- Sufficient professional experience. To be professionally qualified for instruction, individual will need to have maintained ongoing professional experience over the last five years (consulting, professional certifications, etc.).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Teaching experience in finance or related fields will be considered positively.
