Course Overview
- Introductory course in drawing, painting, charcoal, and mixed media
- Covers color theory, composition, observation, and various subjects (landscape, still life, etc.)
- Open to all skill levels, designed for beginners
- Meets once per week for 50 minutes, ~20 students
Duties
- Conduct in-person classes
- Set clear expectations for student work and provide feedback
- Take and organize photos of student work
- Create an inclusive and supportive learning environment
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary degree in art or art history (MA, MFA, PhD)
- At least three years teaching experience (K-12 or post-secondary)
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to teach hybrid courses in art or art history
