EM Normandie UK is registered with the Office for Students, full member of CABS and has been granted approved centre status by the CMI.
We deliver a 5-year Master in Management programme (UG 1-3, MA 4-5) to French and international students (from our 200 partner universities worldwide) and accommodate around 300 students during each academic year on our campus in Oxford.
The opportunity
We are seeking an academic with teaching and course management experience to join EM Normandie Oxford. The role combines up to 300 hours of teaching per year (depending on your academic profile) with responsibility for the MSc Banking, Finance and Fintech programme (20–30 students annually).
You will ensure high-quality teaching delivery and student support, and collaborate with central faculty in France on validation and programme development. The postholder will also recruit and support adjunct lecturers, ensure compliance with UK HE and accreditation standards, and play an active role in academic committees.

About you
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas clearly, solve problems effectively, and work with accuracy and attention to detail. You will demonstrate a supportive, student-focused approach and collaborate well within a small team.
Essential
- PhD in Finance or FinTech, or extensive professional experience sufficient for IP qualification
- Teaching experience in higher education and course and programme management
- Proficiency in using Learning Management Systems (LMS)
- Strong organisational and management skills
- Mental agility, emotional intelligence, flexibility, and an entrepreneurial mindset
- English proficiency
- Right to work in the UK
Desirable
- Working knowledge of French
