Scope of Job
We seek applicants who are dedicated to serving The University of Texas Rio Grande Valley's student body as a Lecturer I of Psychological Science beginning in the 2026-2027 academic year. The successful candidate will teach in its Bachelors, Masters Psychology and/or Doctoral programs. Responsibilities include delivering quality instruction within the program beginning Fall 2026. Assignment of teaching can be made to the Edinburg, Brownsville, or online campus depending on the needs of the Department.

Minimum Qualifications
Master's degree in Psychology or a related field of study from an accredited institution (must have 18 credit hours of graduate hours in Psychology).
Discipline Specific Required Qualifications
University teaching experience, as well as ability and willingness to use technology to support teaching and learning.
Preferred Qualification
Ph.D. in Psychology; experience working with full and part-time first-generation students. Teaching at the graduate level requires a doctoral degree and/or graduate faculty status.
