"Lecturer in Russian Language"

The School of Humanities at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore (NTU Singapore) is committed to promoting high-quality research and teaching. The Centre for Modern Languages offers electives in various languages, including Russian, emphasizing intercultural knowledge and linguistic competence.

We are seeking an experienced lecturer to teach Russian from introductory to advanced levels at the tertiary level. Candidates should have knowledge of current trends in second/foreign language teaching methodologies and a proven track record in teaching, curriculum design, multimedia materials development, and new technologies in language instruction.

Requirements: Postgraduate qualification in Russian as a foreign/second language, Russian Linguistics, Russian Studies, or equivalent; native proficiency in written and spoken Russian; demonstrated excellence in teaching Russian, preferably at the tertiary level; experience in developing Russian language materials, including e-learning resources; proficiency with multimedia and computer-based instructional technologies; ability to coordinate large courses; and proficiency in English for communication.
