Position Summary
The Department of Statistics at the University of Georgia (UGA) invites applications for the position of Lecturer, starting August 1, 2026. This is a 9-month full time non-tenure-track faculty position with a career ladder. The person in this position is expected to teach a variety of undergraduate and lower-level graduate courses spanning a range of topics in statistics and data science. The person hired is expected to be engaged in the activities of the department and to play a major role in advancing the university’s teaching mission.
The position includes expectations to participate in departmental and institutional service activities, and to maintain a program of professional development.
