Description
The Department of Mathematics at Yale seeks one or more applicants with demonstrated commitment to college mathematics teaching to be appointed at the instructional rank of Lecturer. Salary commensurate with experience.
The successful candidate will have a 2-2 teaching load, focused on introductory courses through multivariable calculus. They will join a team of lecturers supporting faculty and graduate students’ teaching development, directing multi-section courses, working on curriculum development, and performing administrative tasks related to teaching.
The position is for three years, with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026.
The ability to appoint candidates from this search may be curtailed due to budgetary constraints.
Qualifications
Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Mathematics, or a related field is required at time of hire; interest and skill in teaching introductory mathematics courses. We welcome additional experience relevant to the duties listed above.
