Offer Description

A person who meets the conditions specified in the Act of 20 July 2018, the Law on Higher Education and Science (consolidated text: Journal of Laws of 2024, item 1571, as amended) and § 64 of the Statute of Akademia Tarnowska (UAS) may apply for the position of lecturer (f/m) in the group of teaching staff.

I. Contest requirements:

A candidate for the position of lecturer (m/f) in the teaching staff is required to:

• have professional qualifications as a water lifeguard confirmed by a valid KPP (Qualified First Aid);
• have professional qualifications as a ski instructor;
• have professional qualifications as a swimming coach;
• have experience in teaching at a university, confirmed by an employment contract;
• be fluent in Polish;
• upon hiring, preference will be given to those who declare AT as their primary place of employment.

AkademiaTarnowska/University of Applied Sciences in Tarnów does not provide accommodation.

II. Candidates should submit the following documents:

1. Application for employment covered by the contest and addressed to the Rector.
2. The application shall include the following declaration: “I agree to the processing of my personal data included in my job offer for the purposes necessary for the recruitment process in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the free movement of such data and repealing 95/46/EC Directive (General Data Protection Regulation)) with a view to conducting a contest procedure by Akademia Tarnowska/University of Applied Sciences in Tarnów.”
3. Personal data questionnaire.
4. Photocopies of documents confirming professional qualifications.
5. List of the candidate's scientific achievements.
6. Declaration that Akademia Tarnowska (University of Applied Sciences in Tarnów) will or will not be their primary employer within the meaning of the Act on Higher Education.
7. Information on the intention to perform additional employment.
8. Information on the processing of personal data.
9. Declaration and certificate of the candidate's clean criminal record.
10. Declaration of familiarization with the procedure for violations of law.

III. Additional information:

• Working hours: full-time
• Number of positions available (F/M): 1
• Type of employment contract: fixed-term
• Scientific discipline: physical education sciences
• Salary: The salary for a lecturer position will be no less than 50% of the minimum monthly base salary for a professor at a public university, which is calculated from PLN 9,650 gross. The employee is entitled to a seniority allowance, depending on the length of service, ranging from 3% to 20% of the base salary, as well as variable remuneration components specified in the Remuneration Regulations for AT Employees (https://bip.atar.edu.pl/zarzadzenie/z-34-2023).

IV. Place and deadline for submitting documents:

Applications (in a sealed envelope, with the following note: "Numer konkursu: PRNR.WLZ-1101.3/2026") should be submitted to Sekretariat Prorektora ds. Nauki i Rozwoju (room A116) of Akademia Tarnowska, ul. Mickiewicza 8, 33-100 Tarnów.

Applications should be submitted until 31st August, 2026.

The expected date of the settlement of the contest is 4th September, 2026.
