Job Summary
This position is primarily responsible for teaching graduate courses in nursing and advising students in the Accelerated MSN program, maintaining full faculty involvement in University, College, School, and professional service, and contributing to the nursing body of knowledge through personal and collaborative scholarship. Effective leadership skills and the ability to work collegially in a group of dedicated graduate faculty is required.
Minimum Qualifications
- An earned graduate degree in nursing.
- An active, unencumbered Alabama registered nurse license, or a multistate registered nurse license issued by a party state
- Academic and experiential qualifications to teach in the area assigned.
- A minimum of at least three years of employment as a registered nurse.
