Position: Lecturer of Physical Therapy
Department: Doctorate of Physical Therapy
Campus: Fort Wayne
Target Hire Date: May 2026
The Doctorate of Physical Therapy Adjunct Lecturer will teach assigned courses within the DPT curriculum-didactic and/or laboratory-based-and engage in activities that support program goals and student success. This position reports to the Program Director and works closely with faculty and staff to deliver an exceptional educational experience aligned with CAPTE standards.
What You'll Do:
- Teach assigned DPT courses, including classroom and/or lab sessions.
- Develop and update course materials to meet program learning outcomes.
- Provide timely feedback and assessment of student performance.
- Mentor and guide students in their academic and professional development.
- Participate in faculty collaboration and course meetings as appropriate.
What You'll Need:
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) required; advanced degree (PhD, EdD, DHSc) preferred.
- Current, unrestricted physical therapy license in the United States.
- Prior teaching or clinical education experience strongly preferred.
- Commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and professional practice.
