Lecturer Part-Time Temporary, Mathematics – recruitment pool
The Engineering & Mathematics Division of the School of Science, Technology, Engineering & Mathematics (STEM) at the University of Washington Bothell (UWB) invites applications for short-term, temporary instructional positions for the 2025-26 academic year (Sept 16-Jun 15). Successful candidates will be appointed as Lecturer Part-Time Temporary, a non-tenure track position.
Candidates must demonstrate commitment to innovative pedagogy, expertise with diverse student populations, and collaboration with colleagues. Appointments are quarterly (3-month basis), based on instructional needs, with service dates: Autumn (September 16-December 15), Winter (December 16-March 15), and Spring (March 16-June 15).

- B MATH 122 - Precalculus I: Algebraic Functions
- B MATH 123 - Precalculus II: Transcendental Functions
- B MATH 144 - Calculus for the Life and Social Sciences
- B MATH 215 - Statistics for Health Sciences
- STMATH 124 – Calculus I
- STMATH 125 - Calculus II
- STMATH 126 - Calculus III
- STMATH 207 - Introduction to Differential Equations
- STMATH 208 - Matrix Algebra with Applications
- STMATH 224 - Multivariable Calculus

The Mathematics program is part of the Division of Engineering & Mathematics in the School of STEM, which emphasizes collaboration, opportunities, responsibility, and engagement. Qualifications include a Master’s degree in mathematics or related field. Positive factors include expertise with diverse populations, innovative pedagogy, and teaching ability.
