Lecturer-Pool Faculty of English (up to 13 positions to be filled)

General Requirements:

This posting is for the Fall 2026 semester. Applicants must be able to teach in person at the Huntsville campus.

Nature & Purpose of Position/Usual Duties:

Lecturer-Pool faculty are term positions hired to teach one to four courses per semester. Courses will be taught in-person at the main campus in Huntsville depending on the needs of the academic department. Courses taught may include Integrated Reading and Writing, Composition I, Composition II, and/or Technical Writing. Lecturer-Pool faculty hiring is based upon student demand, on a semester-by-semester basis.

Unofficial graduate transcripts are acceptable for the application. Official transcripts are required upon hiring.

Educational Requirements for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):

Requires a minimum of master's degree in related field (such as English, English Literature, Rhetoric and Composition, and so on).

Experience Required for the Position (Faculty Positions Only):

College-level teaching experience preferred.
