Position Details

Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job

Teach courses in the core music theory curriculum (music theory/sight-singing/ear-training).

Educational Requirements for the Position

Doctorate in Music Theory preferred, candidates with a Master’s degree in Music Theory will be considered.

Experience Required for the Position

Experience teaching at the University level in core music theory curriculum.

Other Requirements for the Position

A strong commitment to undergraduate teaching is essential and is in keeping with the needs and mission of the School of Music.
