Employment type: Fixed-term contract, full-time (35 hours per week)

Remuneration: Level B from $127,947 plus leave loading and 17% super
Location: UNSW Canberra, ADFA Campus

As an Education Focussed Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Project Management, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality teaching across our postgraduate, and potentially undergraduate, programs. Working closely with colleagues in the School of Engineering and Technology, you will design and deliver engaging, contemporary courses that inspire students, strengthen their professional capabilities, and foster a culture of excellence in learning and teaching.
This role will contribute to course and program delivery, development and innovation, and supervision of students in two programs: UNSW-Project-Management-Programs and Master of Project Management (Canberra)
Who You Are (skills and experience):
- Have a PhD in project management or a closely related discipline or have a master’s degree in project management with substantive experience in the design and delivery of courses and/or programs.
- A profound understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and best practices, with a track record of relevant academic and professional accomplishments.
- Practical experience in the project management industry, enabling the effective integration of theoretical knowledge with real-world applications to enrich the learning experience.
- Experience in course development and delivery at postgraduate and/or undergraduate level.
- Demonstrated success in initiating curriculum development and improvement coupled with a passion for fostering engaging and effective learning experiences for undergraduate/postgraduate students.
- A commitment to mentoring students and junior colleagues, along with the potential to provide leadership within the academic community.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the candidate to interact effectively with students, colleagues, and industry partners.
- A proactive approach to professional development, staying abreast of the latest trends, advancements, and pedagogical approaches in project management.
