"Lecturer/Senior Lecturer"

The Woodruff School of Mechanical Engineering (www.me.gatech.edu) at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, GA invites applications for teaching faculty positions. Applicants will be considered at all ranks (Lecturer, Senior Lecturer). Applicants with expertise teaching across the various disciplines are encouraged, including design, manufacturing, engineering computing, mechanics, and thermal/fluid sciences. Positions require teaching, curriculum development, service, and strong commitment to student mentoring and support.

We seek faculty who are passionate about supporting the Woodruff School Strategic Plan to reimagine the mechanical engineering and nuclear and radiological engineering curriculum to provide students with transformative learning experiences. The school has recently received a $100 million gift to support faculty and academic excellence within the school, which will provide unprecedented resources to accelerate our goals, including providing discretionary funds to faculty for transforming student learning experiences.

Those applying for positions at the Senior Lecturer rank should have established records in teaching and engineering curriculum innovation. We welcome individuals with diverse work experiences, including individuals from academic, industry, and governmental labs. Candidates are expected to teach and mentor a diverse student body.
