About the role:

Operating within Exercise Science (Brisbane), the Lecturer (Sport & Exercise Psychology) makes a significant contribution to the academic and administrative activities of ACU's National School of Behavioural & Health Sciences. The Lecturer has key responsibilities in the ongoing development and delivery of education content and classes in the core units of Sport & Exercise Psychology in the disciplines of Exercise Science (undergraduate) and Exercise Physiology (postgraduate). The position will contribute to excellence in teaching, learning, curriculum development and research at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and engages in the scholarship of teaching and learning in line with the faculty and university. Supported by an established local and national academic team, the Lecturer will consult with the Deputy Head of School, Head of Discipline, Course Advisors and other university staff as required ensuring that the implementation of Exercise Science courses are comprehensively managed.

• Total remuneration valued to $142,635 - $168,287 total rem (pro rata) pa, including salary component $120,529 - $142,305 (pro rata) pa (Academic Level B), employer contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading.
• 17% employer superannuation contributions to eligible continuing and fixed-term staff.
• Annual leave loading of an equivalent to 17.5% of four weeks' salary pro rata payable, dependent on your commencement date.
