The Role
The School of Health and Care delivers an extensive range of undergraduate and post graduate courses for professionals working in health and care settings inclusive of nursing, midwifery, occupational therapy, dietetics, paramedic science, operating department practitioners, diagnostic radiography, podiatry, clinical psychology and public health.
As a Lecturer (Teaching) in Post Registration MSc Nursing Team you will undertake teaching and course co-ordination while supporting the development and delivery of undergraduate, postgraduate, and professional programs.
Duties include:
- Supporting with the design and delivery of our Post Registration MSc Nursing Curriculum
- Leading and teaching on modules and courses at HE levels 4-7 in relevant academic subject areas including curation, adaptation and creation of learning materials, assessment and feedback tasks in alignment with Group and School quality assurance processes
- Upholding high standards of academic integrity in all aspects of teaching, learning and assessment.
Qualifications Required
- NMC Registration in Nursing (Current and Active) is essential for this role
- A teaching qualification or be willingness to undertake a teaching qualification if not already qualified is essential for this role.
- A Masters Degree in an appropriate/relevant professional subject area is an essential requirement for this role.
