The Department of Family & Community Medicine is seeking a Lecturer to join the department to teach a Team-Based Clinical and Translational Science course. This course is a unique and innovative course that is focused on experiential learning through hands-on research project experience at the University of Cincinnati Academic Health Center, coupled with cultivating project management and team-based work skills. Students will attend a weekly seminar as well as complete a research internship at the UC Academic Health Center. Lecturers at the University of Cincinnati are expected to teach scholarly and other professional or creative activities. This position supports the University of Cincinnati’s mission and commitment to excellence in our students, faculty, staff, and all of our activities.
Essential Functions
- Conduct and teach assigned undergraduate and/or graduate-level courses and seminars.
- Attend meetings, participate in governance, prepare materials for teaching.
- Evaluate and develop curriculum for department and/or college.
Minimum Requirements
- Appropriate academic degree related to department specifications and prior academic experience.
- Demonstrated excellence in teaching and practical experience evidenced by a work history in a clinical research setting.
