Lecturer – Training and Assessment Continuing, Full Time Appointment VET Academic Level A – annual salary up to $111,253 pa Plus 17% superannuation and 6 weeks annual leave Casuarina Campus Utilise your passion and experience in Training and Assessment to teach students at Charles Darwin University (CDU) About the Position As the Lecturer – Training and Assessment, you will be responsible for delivering training from the Training and Education Training Package whilst also being involved in the development of curriculum, learning resources and activities, and support ASQA compliance and registration for the team. The position contributes to growing the teaching business and anticipates and responds to industry training requirements. About You To be successful, you will require: • Current qualification equivalent to a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent qualification as outlined by ASQA) • Extensive experience providing training within a Registered Training Organisation. • Demonstrated contemporary knowledge of the Vocational Educational and Training industry and associated organisations, including VET Quality Framework and the Australian Skills Quality Authority. • Demonstrated high level interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate in a culturally sensitive manner with internal and external stakeholders to whom English may not be the first language. • Demonstrated experience working independently and as part of a team. • Competency with the Microsoft Office suite and other relevant software packages. Desirable competencies • Experience in designing and facilitating online learning. • Experience in researching and developing training and assessment resources to meet needs of students and / or industry clients. The base salary will be in the range of $74,157 - $111,253 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $86,763 - $130,166 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
