LEEP Institute Administrator and Personal Assistant
About The Role
This part-time (0.4 FTE) post is available immediately on a fixed term basis to cover a secondment until August 2027.
Salary will be £30,628 per annum pro rata on Grade D subject to knowledge, skills and experience.
This role offers the opportunity for hybrid working - some time on campus and some from home.
Key Responsibilities
- Diary management, meeting coordination, and travel arrangements for senior leaders, ensuring priorities are managed effectively
- Supporting departmental projects and digital initiatives, including new systems and process improvements
- Coordinating departmental communications including newsletters, website and intranet updates, and social media content
- Supporting compliance activities such as mandatory training monitoring, risk registers, and business continuity processes
- Providing administrative support for committees and governance meetings, including agendas, minute-taking, and action tracking
- Responding to queries from internal and external stakeholders and helping resolve issues efficiently
- Organising departmental events, workshops, seminars, and visitor arrangements
- Maintaining accurate records, processing data, and producing reports using university systems and software
- Supporting financial administration including purchase orders, expenses, and ordering goods and services

- Excellent organisational and communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work proactively
- Confidence using digital systems and handling financial processes
