Licensed Refrigeration Engineer
Position Summary
The Licensed Refrigeration Engineer performs daily refrigeration engineer assignments as required by maintenance and/or job order, by sketch, blueprint, illustration, or supervisor's oral directions in operation, preventive maintenance, and repairs to refrigeration, air conditioning, ventilation systems, and auxiliary equipment.
Responsibilities
- Applicant shall be proficient in the employment of all tools, methods, and instrumentation or HVAC systems, steam generators (boilers), and associated systems.
- Shall be able to read blueprints, schematics, and control diagrams, and be able to work safely, independently, and reliably from verbal or written instructions.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school/trade school graduate and/or its equivalent.
- Five (5) years' licensed refrigeration engineer or as a mechanic A or machinist A.
- A valid NYC refrigeration system operator's certificate or qualification is required and must remain posted on premises.
- Must have satisfactorily completed controls.
- Demonstrated training and experience equivalent to educational requirements.

- Standard Work Schedule: Floating Shift - must be available to cover various shifts (7a-3p, 3p-11p, 11p-7a or 7a-330p), including holidays and weekends
