"Linen Supervisor- Linen Irvine- FT Day Shift"

Position Summary: Reporting to the Manager of Linen Services, the Linen Supervisor has primary responsibility for ensuring that the linen distribution needs of all UCI Health systems locations are met. This includes full supervisory responsibility for linen staff. Applies knowledge, skills, and experience in medical laundry operations to supervise subordinate staff in daily operations. Schedules, trains, and monitors subordinate staff. Oversees equipment functionality, inventory control, and safe handling of laundry chemicals and potentially contaminated linens. Ensures that textiles are laundered and processed safely, thoroughly, and efficiently within quality standards and budgetary guidelines, to meet medical center needs, orders, and requests.

Required Qualifications:

• Skill to effectively supervise staff
• Minimum two years previous job-related/equivalent experience
• Current State of California Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications:

• Working knowledge of linen operations, and logistics
• Knowledge of UCI Medical Center policies and procedures
