LLM and MCL Admissions Administrator
The Faculty of Law is seeking to appoint an LLM and MCL Admissions Administrator to join our professional services team. This role provides an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive Faculty, proactive in providing training and career development opportunities for all staff.
The Faculty of Law currently has over 100 University, Faculty and College teaching officers. Almost every area of legal interest is represented. Within its professional services team, the Faculty has 25 administrative staff, an IT team of 6.
The role holder will provide support to the LLM and MCL Programmes Coordinator for admissions activity within the Faculty in order to provide an efficient admissions experience for prospective students. The role holder will also provide general administrative support to the LLM and MCL Programmes Coordinator (for those two taught postgraduate programmes).
The role holder will provide appropriate support for work undertaken on student information systems i.e. Panel and CamSIS, support circulation of applications to the two degree programmes, support Faculty events held for LLM and MCL students and produce databases and tables of information relating to the programmes.
Applicants should have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and a good standard of written and spoken English. The role requires previous administrative experience and excellent IT skills. The role holder must be able to work on their own initiative, in addition to working as part of a team.
We offer the flexibility of hybrid working after the probation period and would be willing to discuss this as part of the interview process.
