UVM is seeking a Locksmith Assistant to learn and perform maintenance and repair of university building locks/security systems and associated hardware to ensure security on campus without disruption to university functions. Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
High school diploma and one year of related experience required. A valid driver's license, or ability to obtain and drivers check may be required. Experience using computers and mobile technology required. Specific physical requirements may apply based on job functions. Effective verbal and written communication skills required. Ability to interact with diverse groups of people and function in a team setting. Must wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while performing specific job tasks. Initial employment contingent upon successful completion of background check.
