Nature of Work

The University of Colorado College of Nursing is seeking a Certified Nurse-Midwife (CNM) / Instructor in the Non-Tenure Clinical Practice Track for a 1.0 FTE benefits-eligible position with its CU Center for Midwifery (CFM) faculty practice in Longmont, Colorado. This is a full scope position including antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, well woman and gynecological care. This position is clinically-based as a health care provider, and includes an instructor level, non-tenure clinical practice track appointment within the College of Nursing.

Examples of Work Performed

• Provide full scope care to the gynecologic, antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum client
• Provide care in the outpatient clinic, OB ED unit, and intrapartum unit
• Utilize limited obstetric ultrasound skills in the outpatient and inpatient setting
• Attend monthly practice meetings and participate in a minimum of 1 practice and/or College of Nursing committees.
• Educate health care team students (APNs, medical students, residents) and actively participate in student evaluations.
• Provide water birth option to low-risk patients
• Participate in practice development, promotion and community outreach.
• Active participation in health plan contracts.
• Remain credentialed by the health plans and ensure credentialing materials stay current.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Onsite - this role is expected to work onsite and is located in Longmont, CO.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Instructor: Master's degree... (include all ranks)

Preferred Qualifications

• Current, active DEA licensure
• Experience in alternative labor/birth options
• Experience as Surgical First Assistant for C-sections
• Ultrasound training

Anticipated Pay Range

$95,683 - $105,252 annually at Instructor... up to $97,596 - $107,357 at Assistant Professor.
