"Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor – Multiple Positions"

The Loyola University Chicago Marcella Niehoff School of Nursing (MNSON) invites applications for multiple clinical track faculty positions. We are especially interested in faculty engaged in teaching and scholarship in the following areas: medical-surgical nursing, psychiatric-mental health nursing, community health nursing, obstetrical nursing, pathophysiology, and pharmacology. These are 9-month non-tenure track open rank position for appointment at the clinical assistant professor rank or higher based on the applicant's education, program of scholarship, and teaching experience.

Within the context of the Loyola University Chicago and MNSON missions, visions, values, and strategic initiatives, the faculty member will:

• Teach in undergraduate and graduate programs as appropriate to expertise and program needs; these positions will have primary responsibilities in the pre-licensure nursing programs.
• Employ a variety of teaching/learning strategies in classroom, online, laboratory, and clinical settings.
• Collaborate with faculty on curriculum and course planning, improvement, and evaluation.
• Develop and disseminate scholarship that advances nursing practice and education.
• Engage in service activities consistent with the mission and strategic vision of the MNSON, University, and nursing profession.
• Contribute to the MNSON and University goals for inclusive excellence.

Minimum Education and/or Work Experience:

• A doctoral degree in nursing or a doctoral degree in a related field with a master's degree in nursing.
• Eligibility for licensure as a registered nurse in the state of Illinois
