"Manager, Biophysical Model Design (Temporary)"

We are building the first-ever Immune Digital Twin – a personalizable computer replica of the immune system – to enable everyone and anyone to assess and optimize the health of their immune system and simulate and predict its future ability to respond to diseases.

As a Manager, Biophysical Model Design (Temporary), you will:

• Partner with the product team to translate the vision into a theoretical multi-scale modeling framework
• Manage the biophysical modeling team
• Oversee the design and evolution of the multi-scale biophysical model increments into the overall platform.
• Transition tested increments to the Pilot and Software Development teams for full integration and scalability.

Minimum Required Qualifications:

• Master's in computational biology, systems biology, bioinformatics, biological engineering, biophysics, mathematics, or related field
• 8+ years of experience with agent-based models or physics-based models
• 5+ years of experience managing a scientific team of 5 or more people
• 2+ years of experience working with a product management team to facilitate the translation of product requirements into scientific specifications
• 2+ years of experience with at least 2 additional modeling frameworks: logical models, genome-scale metabolic models, QSP models
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
• Desire to work on a highly complex infrastructure that requires tight integration and communication with the computational and experimental scientists and software developers.

Posted Salary: $75,120/year minimum
