The NUS Office of Alumni Relations (OAR) fosters a lifelong relationship between the National University of Singapore (NUS) and its alumni. It provides a platform for alumni to stay connected with the University and each other through various programmes, events, and networking opportunities. Job Description
- Build and manage strategic partnerships with university and 3P stakeholders to identify new opportunities for engagement and partnerships.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver events and initiatives to create meaningful interactions and bring alumni together.
- Conduct regular feedback to assess the effectiveness of programmes and identify areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain lasting, meaningful connections with alumni and students through tailored outreach and engagement initiatives.
Qualifications
- A good Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in stakeholder engagement and events management roles, preferably in a higher education setting.
- Responsible for overseeing all aspects of event planning from conception to execution, including event design, budgeting, procurement, logistics, marketing, on-site execution and post-event evaluation.
- Strong project management skills, with a "solution-oriented" mindset.
- Familiarity with event management systems and, ideally, proficiency in using Canva to design marketing materials.
- High adaptability and capable of working in a rapidly changing environment.
- A natural connector and collaborator, with an outgoing personality and strong stakeholder management skills
- Willingness to work after office hours and on weekends, when required.
